platformer workshop 8/20

Awesome from-scratch workshop I held—we made platformer mechanics from almost literally nothing!

Got down raycasts, acceleration logic, collision detection, a basic menu system, game logic layout, and even some side programming learning in there as well! It sure was fun for me.

Keep in mind I’m using Unity Pro image effects in the build I do at home—so you might not get the awesome depth of field or bloom I have going on. Though, you can take a look at the Enemy class which shifts from position to position, and the Bullet class which we just instantiate when the mouse button is clicked!
